Silje Høidal is one of the few artists in Norway today who has a traditional education in classical painting. She has a remarkable sense of colours and empathizes the individual person's character and personality in her works. 

 

Silje works after the same prinsipals as amongst others Leonardo Da vinchi, Michaelangelo and Rembrandt - a method that throughout the modern arts and times has become rare.

Her portraits are timeless works of art that will never be outfashioned, and can be enjoyed for generations. She masters the art of classical painting and drawing as well as caricatures.
